Inside Ardoyne

Another post from MLA Nelson Mc Causland about Ardoyne. Nelson seems to forget there are thousands of people in Ardoyne who cover the full scope of political opinion. Nelson forgets Ardoyne like the Shankill and other areas has to cope with large scale unemployment, no large scale business, school closures, drugs and all the other issues people from all sides in the North have to deal with. Nelson would do better telling us how he is going to help the people in these areas as opposed to continually sniping and avoiding the real issues today. His post again shows a one sided view of almost everything.

He is a one issue politician, Parades. He appears to be interested in nothing in North Belfast other than Parades. Perhaps thats how both he and the DUP stay in power. Continually building up the seige mentality in North Belfast. Pitting one side aganist the other while doing nothing to address the real day to day issues that effect the population there.

Its time he moved on and actually explained who he represents. Do you represent the community in North Belfast Nelson or only one side of it? Indeed do you only represent the DUP and none of the people?

Nelson and Human Rights

Once again we have the minister posting another totally one side blog. This time its about human rights people observing both sides at the recent parade in Ardoyne. Nelson fails to say they had to run for it as they felt under threat by groups of men from Woodvale asking them personal details, name, address etc.

I cannot understand how he can do his job as a minister when his outlook on life in the North is so one sided as it appears to be from his posts. How can he take a decisiion based on fairness when his posts only seem to show one sided views of almost everything??

Nelson then goes rambles on about numbers protesting. Perhaps Nelson would have liked a crowd of thousands out as opposed to the small group who did appear. He fails to address any issue re the parades and what could be done to sort this out once and for all!!!

Disagree with Nelson? Dont Comment

I see Nelson doesn’t like to authorise comments from a lot of those who point out the error of his ways and the way he dances around questions in his attempts to inject some wit onto the Internet!

So where does this leave us?

1.      Nelson refuses to debate those who actually try and get him to stick to the question.

2.      Nelson will only approve the odd post from those who disagree with him

3.      Nelson likes posts that hit Ardoyne and those who live there as republican scum as proven by this comment which I assume as the blogger he approved "Ardoyne a breading place for sectarian hate, bigotry and murderers."

Come on Nelson your supposed to be representative of the entire electoral area not just little bits of it. What was it you said about the North Belfast News something like should be called Parts of North Belfast News! Bit like your blog then isn’t it?

Nelson Strikes again

Another post from Nelson. Its good to know that he takes the word of Oglaigh na hEireann (ONH) re the riots. Usually someone with a background like Nelsons would be calling them all the scum of the day. Interesting how he feels able to report their statements when it suits his argument!!

Guess with tomorrow being Sunday Nelson will be offline for a bit.

Oh for the record this blog totally disagrees with the violence in Ardoyne from both siides involved. Unlike Nelson this blog does not wear blinkers!

On and for information this blog unlike Nelsons will publish each and every non abusive comment received.

A fashion-conscious rioter at Ardoyne?

Once again another one sided post from Nelson. Think that will be the opening line for any post referring to Nelson. This time Nelson decides he is not only the judge but the jury as well as he names an alleged rioter (name was public anyway) but Nelson fails to mention the guy is innocent until proven guilty. Nelson tries to add some wit to his obvious relish in the post and only adds the word alleged in the final couple of paragraphs.

How does Nelson know he went home to change? Was he there (oh he was that’s right with the loyalist protesters who had just finished rioting (alleged) as well)

How in fact do the PSNI know he went home? Did they follow him? Did they have an eye in the sky? Feet in the crowd?

Come on Nelson, fill us all in, enquiring minds want to know how you know?

By the way you can hear the bands all over North Belfast including the Cliftonville. Come on Nelson you should know that!
